● Tagging News - During their stopover in Lindenhafen - a break from the onerous! task of piloting Libertine back to Lae from the Rabaul Titles - crew Lalui Kila, Brian Lindeman & Andrew Smits, along with Travis Cross & Kirk Robertson found time to capture (Brian on the rod) a Black Marlin. This would have been tagged but reached the boat dead. On close inspection it was found to have what initially looked like a worm but turned out to be a tag in the belly area. This recapture has been acknowledged by Karen Woodrick of NSW Fisheries as a particularly notable due to the length of time elapsed since tagged. Karen advises -
