Weekly Fishing Report

Well we have had the last fishing weekend for this year fishing calendar. Nevertheless, there are still a few days left in this month’s calendar to do some fishing. If some have the time to do it of course. There were fish recorded throughout the week. As written below are the captures recorded for this week.

23/06/2004

Libertine was active trying to get a few fish for the month. David Lindeman was on board and managed to land himself a nice Wahoo. David’s Wahoo weighed 6.4kg on 15kg line class. Well done

24/06/2004

Wopa went out for a couple of hours and managed to score a few good sizes Mackerel. David Lindeman weighed one mackerel in at 5.10kg on 6kg line class. Andrew Smits also weighed in a Mackerel at 5.66kg on 6kg line class. Nice work both of you for a couple of hours work.

Ratchet went out on Friday both Andrew Smits and David Lindeman end the day have a lot of fun. David Lindeman weighed in three Tuna Mackerel the heaviest weighing 4.25kg caught on 8kg line class. David also caught two Giant Trevally the heaviest weighing in at 4kg on 3kg line class and a Mackerel weighing in at 5.58kg on 4kg line class. Well done David. Andrew Smits weighed in three good sizes Tuna Mackerel the heaviest weighed 4.26kg on 4kg line class and a nice size Yellowfin Tuna weighing in at 7.35kg on 4kg line class. Libertine was back out on Saturday again this time Lalui managed to land a Wahoo weighing in at 8.45kg on 15kg line class. Well done Lalui

Wopa headed out for a days fishing and they had a Wahoo of a day. Steve Lindeman weighed in a Wahoo at 7.2kg on 6kg line class. David Lindeman weighed two Wahoo the heaviest one was 10.8kg caught on 6kg line class and Sue Lindeman also weighed in a Wahoo at 10.6kg caught on 6kg line class. Well done to all of you.

Bass Master hit the water on Sunday and Gary Wong weighed in a Yellowfin Tuna at 4.32kg on 6kg line class and a Barracuda at 2.33kg on 4kg line class. Also on board Bass Master was Theo Pelgen and he weighed a Yellowfin Tuna at 2.28kg on 4kg line class.

Well done both of you.

Libertine was back out again on Sunday and this time Noel Edwards had a fun day with the Smits boys and John Cross. Between Noel on the end of the Black Marlin and John Cross skippering Libertine, they managed to Tag and release the Black Marlin that estimated to be 70kg or 80kg and it was caught on 37kg line class. Well done everyone.

 

Well that’s it for another week of fishing still three days of fishing left in this years calendar so good luck and have fun fishing, that’s what it is all about.
